Knee pain The issue is that when you are using a leg press machine, when you lock out your legs at the top of the movement it puts ALL the weight directly on your knees/ankles/and joints. Never lock out. You should always keep a slight bend in your knees and then continue with the movement. Remember it's 1 set of 10 reps, not 10 sets of 1 rep! Anyways, to get to my point, there is a reverse in direction at the bottom of your squat/ leg press that is also very hard on your joints which is where knee wraps and sleeves come in handy. Rather than having a slow grind through the bottom of the movement, it gives you a slight and controlled 'bounce'. I received the medium pair and they fit just as expected. Very tight and a bit tricky to get on. ** Put them on inside out, roll them up just below your kneecap.. then flip them rightside up! Easy Peezy! The quality itself seems very good and study, and the package states that there is a '1 year no rip warranty'. Trust me when I say that in the next few months I will be putting these things to the ultimate test! I don't think i'll have any problem though! Definitely helped me in my trip and I felt no pain at all. Only minor issue is after hours of walking, you will have to readjust but just a minor issue. I really like the neoprene material compared to the elastic cloth type (ace bandage type) knee sleeves. I feel the neoprene sleeves provide sturdier support for your knees when working out and for leg exercises. However, neoprene isn't a breathable fabric and you will sweat in them so I don't suggest these knee sleeves if you're looking for all day support. Sizing chart is fairly accurate, I ordered a size large and they fit well when I'm wearing shorts but are too tight to go over any sort of tights or joggers.
