They are clearly injection molded. Not a huge deal, just don’t like being lied to…coulda been a 5 start. Made in China, good luck finding a plastic product that isn’t. Other than that, not complicated to put together (though I had to do most of it for my kid…requires significant finger strength); if you’ve ever built a Lego set you’ll figure it out quick.
