Quality is fair for the price paid, and this fish spear is small enough that it can serve double duty as a frog gig as well. Unit seems more than strong enough for the task at hand. tines will bend by hand using a LOT of force.. And will bend if you strike a hard enough object (ROCK) But if the weld holds good you will be able to bend it back into shape.. I think this piece can be made much stronger where the tines connect to the barrel end, but for the price paid its not bad..
