I honestly thought they would be a ripoff and not worth the extra expense, but I'm glad that I gave in.First, the wheels were easy to install - I didn't even have to install them! My kid (in elementary school) did it himself without even asking for help.Second, the wheels seem durable enough. My son has been riding his scooter non-stop since COVID-19 hit - it helps him keep from going stir crazy, and I'm glad that it has been keeping him active. In all of his antics (jumping off curbs, practicing wheelies, etc.), the wheels have proved durable. They are also grippy enough that he can make sharp turns with confidence.Finally, the lights are a great safety feature.
