**Q: Do you prefer this over the caldwell deadshot shooting bags?**
A: I've never tried the Caldwell bags so I couldn't comment.

**Q: This doesn't look like leather. Is there any leather in this since that's in the title?**
A: There doesn't appear to be any "genuine leather" in the product, but the lighter brown material on the top is a high-quality synthetic leather. The body is nylon material. The tag says "Made in China". I bought this for my boyfriend and he is very happy with the quality of the product.

**Q: How much fill is required**
A: I filled mine full. I did not use sand. I dried rice in the microwave then used it to fill the bags. Perfect for me.

It's as good as anything else out there, no major flaws in design/construction. Be careful which filling you choose to put in the rests, sand is a bit too fine and will leak out. 2mm glass beads are the ultimate IMO, good ballast and very maleable especially in the rear bag. Way better than a sand sock. I would recommend these rests, they are surprisingly good quality.

Brilliant low cost solution for bench rest.  Filled mine with cheap rice I bought from the supermarket, but didn't over fill them so my rifles sink in to them forming a stable base allowing me to zero with pinpoint accuracy.

I gave 3 stars as one of the bags' stitching was incomplete at the top, so after filling it up and turning it the right way up the beads came tumbling out so check the stitching on arrival.
