I had been searching for something like this for a long time and had resigned myself to using a basic notebook for around the same price. It comes with a clear plastic cover which helps to protect the slightly cushioned leather, for now I will leave it on.A journal is a place where I could record answers to prayer, revelations from the Word or where I had seen God at work. These very precious moments fade in time unless recorded to review many years later.Due to the fact that I have only just received it I only have a couple of entries but I am sure the scripture verses on each page will highlight many of the entries over time.I will order three or four more for the time when this becomes full of answers, revelations and memories, if the Lord tarries and maybe to give to young converts for the same reasons.Carl, just journeying through.Well, I have just bought four more, one to use at work and the others to give away to some Christian friends. Now that I have had and used the first one for a while I can testify that it is a quality product, the leather is bearing up well, the ribbon page finder is useful and the gold leaf on the page edges give it a look of class.Now I just need to convince a few more Christian friends of the value of keeping a journal then I can order some more.The service from Amazon has also been first class with both of my orders arriving quickly and in excellent condition.P.S. Didn't want it to be too fancy but be nice enough that I would want to pick it up and read it at a later date.This definitely fits the bill, good quality imitation leather, nicely ruled pages with verses at the bottom. It also is about the same size as my Bible which is nice.
