The calculator will simplify square roots that are not perfect squares and if you need a decimal answer then press the sd key and if will convert it to a decimal. **Q: Is there a comma separator - thousands function for millions and billions,etc. for example 50,000,000,000?** A: This is not a business calculator - not sure why you'd want a comma separator when you'd be using scientific notation: 5x10^10 for example. **Q: How is this different than the fx-300ESPLUS2 ?** A: I am not familiar with the fx-300ESPLU52. You might be able to go to the Casio website to get information on how they are different. This one (the fx-115) has many features which I have not yet used. **Q: can it used in SAT exam?** A: I'm a retired hs teacher. WORKS ON INTEGRALS *by A***E on May 1, 2026* THIS CALC IS AMAZING. for the price it is the best calculator at its price point without a doubt. I had always used Texas Instruments as they were always pushed in the schools. But this calculator is way better. This calculator can do everything a ti30 can do and more. It does derivatives and it works extremely well. You can get the value of an integral with this. You can use it for literally anything (up to calculus I and some of calculus II). If you don't want to spend a bunch of money for a calculator and wont be taking any crazy MATH classes, this is definitely the calculator to get. it is suitable in almost all normal math classes and the display is good enough.
