My husband took them down and replaced the string and pulls! They look brand new again! To replace the custom blinds would have cost us $273 per blind on a 23”x72” window! We had three that we needed fixed. Instead we spent about $30 on supplies to fix all three! So we figured we won the reconstruction derby on this one. Plus now we can do this on other blinds when needed. Our home has 28 windows with varies sizes of blinds. Some as wide as 60” x 72”. These pulls helped us with a winning savings! FYI investing in well made blinds from the beginning has made our home more valuable for the future. (The contractor who built our house did it right! We bought it 8 years ago and have been so pleased!) Review: Good product - I like that these are made of wood, not plastic (plastic tends to wear out and break).
