Review: E-Meet Your New Favorite Cam - I needed a new webcam; I have been using one I purchased with my XP PC many years ago. It did what I needed it to for so long, I never gave a thought about upgrading it. Now, with the need to be online more and Zoom calls and other things, I found my aging camera not to be enough. I watched a bunch of reviews on YouTube and TikTok. I landed on the EMEET SmartCam S800. I am not going to go down the long list of specs. You can look those up yourself. What I will tell you is about my experience now that I have been using this for a few months. The EMEET came well packaged to keep it safe. I can tell you it was pretty much plug and play. They do offer software you can download that gives you added features. What I love is that I do not have to have stadium lights on to be seen. I can have just my normal lights on in the room, and people can see me crystal clear. I also appreciate the built-in privacy screen, which you can just flip on when you’re not using it. I personally have not used it for streaming, but with the quality I have seen thus far, I think it would be great for that. The built-in microphone appears to be pretty good as well. I use another mic, so I cannot tell you at this time how good the mic on the cam itself is. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cam. It’s not going to break the bank to purchase it and give you a quality product.
Review: Getting first face cam? BUY IT!!! - I wish i could put 4 and a half stars but. this cam is insane its 4k, it can sit on alot of items, it has a privacy protector that im never or not really gonna use but i do have to use 2 hands to spin it to hold the cam and spin. the mic how ever i got no clue what was happening but im never gonna use it. the wire is good length. the app for the cam is kinda confusing. and it did have a glitch or problem for a couple minutes when i was using its app after i was first but its all back to normal and good now. the 4k 30fps on the cam are kinda annoying me of how slow it is but i prefer quality. the connection is perfect plug it in and instant works, the only thing with that is that you only can use it on one app or website a time.

I needed a new webcam; I have been using one I purchased with my XP PC many years ago. It did what I needed it to for so long, I never gave a thought about upgrading it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good camera, with some initialization issues outstanding.

The image quality of this camera is quite good. It initially set up very easy, but I've had some issues with the camera not getting registered properly when I reboot the computer. I've had to unplug and plug it before applications like Teams work (they seemed to think the camera was there but there was no picture and the light on the camera was not on). I haven't noticed any problems with lag on the camera or failure to focus. I did install their software. I have not used the microphone and don't plan to, so I can't speak to that. The one feature that I wish were different is the blades on the privacy screen are black, which means I can't easily tell if they are engaged or not since when they are open the lens opening is also black. I have to shine a light on it to see if they are engaged. If they had made the blades red or yellow or white then it would be a lot easier to verify that they are closed.
