Review: Easy installation - I'm not sure why so many people had trouble with this product. I was able to install this on my 1999 Wrangler TJ Sahara by myself with no problem. The no drill design makes things so much simpler and everything fit perfectly. Make sure to read the instructions and watch youtube videos from Bestop and you will have no trouble at all. They really emphasize that you need to make sure you push the header all the way forward and flush with the seal, not leaning back where air or water could get in. The bigger challenge was installing the bikini top by myself, but I still managed to do it. Two people would have made that way easier, but that is not the fault of the header, which is why I am leaving this at 5 stars. Review: Works well - Almost perfect. Got this as a LPN return. Prior customer had stripped nutsert thread and returned item. I just had to rethread the nutsert and install the channel. They responded the following: All the brands of windshield channels are interchangeable. It looks like everyone is out of stock except Bestop… (don’t get the OEM or supertop version) **Q: Can u put ur top on over this** A: No because it attaches where your hard top would **Q: I have a Mopar soft top on my wrangler, no weather strip or seal on windsheild. Would this do the job? Wind noise and air gap are there now!** A: The header is bolted to the windshield and has a channel in it for your top to slide into, but your top needs to have the lip on it that slides into the channel to cut out the wind and this also forms weather protection.
