Issue #1 was the stud was far too short to clear the bumper on my 2013 VW GTI. Number 2, which I didn't verify before I returned this, I don't think it is reverse-threaded, so it wouldn't even screw in to my car. Finally, after some more research, I don't believe this to be capable of actually towing a vehicle. I have found tow hooks with this appearance in the range of $100 for my car, which leads me to believe this would fail on the first attempt to use it.

Life saver!
Very useful, most drivers should have one of these just in case. It's a good deal for what the item is. We had to move recently and couldnt take several cars so one of ours had to be hitched. Thought it would be complicated but my husband put it on nice and easy. No issues with it

Does not fit a 2023 VW Taos
This does not fit a 2023 VW Taos, despite the Amazon function stating that it does. It is far too short to go through the bumper cover and reach the threads.

legit but doesn't fit Mazda 3
was cute but the screw doesn't even go past my grill to fit into the frame. not sure if it works with other cars, but it doesn't work for the mazda 3. its a legit tow hook, nice metal and would be really cute, such a bummer that it didn't fit
