I have had this product for about a month so this is not a 1 day owned elated review full of high on the buy stuff. It is definately a high quality product. The cable is as thick as a usb cable, very well made to say the least. The sockets are a very good fit, not to tight or tempermental like cheap ones. I notice no difference in sound quality from the audio being split.(I am not an audiophile but working on it) I am using it to split the audio for an amplifier to a pair of Ruark speakers and the other channel for a subwoofer, it works very well. Far better than the cheap two pound ones. It is great for headphone use also, I am using a pair of creative Aurvana live headphones andsounds great. What else can I say?
