Great reef tank filters
I’ve been using a filer type ones for years and I thought they were doing ok. However I’ve been fighting algae for a year. After putting in the 75micron socks I can definitely tell a difference. Glass is staying cleaner much longer and so far two of these last about two days before I see them starting to fill up. If you rinse with hot water right after they clean up pretty easily. The fiber ones I’ve used is have to bleach and put in the washer and they still came out kinda gross. Just bought more

Great for final stage strain for tinctures and slaves ect.
Perfect sock to make salve or extract tinctures. Gets 99% plant matter out. Still some very fine plant matter but it seems impossible to get %100 out. This is usually my 3rd and final strain stage.

Work well, maybe too well!
Quality product, but 50 micron version needs washing out every ~2 days on my aquarium! Be sure you want this level of filtration before purchasing.

50 Micron is amazing
Holey freaking awesome! I have traditional 250 micron cloth filter socks which are a PITA to clean. You ring them out, use hot water, ring them again, squeeze them ........ it just takes forever. Then enter these filters. I decided to put this filter inside my cloth filter sock just to make sure it works. The first time I went to clean them I pulled it out of the sump, flipped it inside out, rinsed it with water for 30 sec, and it was done! No, I'm not joking. I have used these for several weeks now and every time they are super simple to clean. I have not used them alone yet (they are used inside my traditional filter sock), but they do catch enough to make cleaning of the traditional sock much easier. These clog and overflow in about 3 days on my 90 gal tank (not heavily loaded but freaking tons of hair algae). I will definitely buy more and recommend you give them a try. I was nervous the 50 micron was too small but thus far it has not been a big issue for me. My water flow is not very high so if you have a larger turnover you may need the 100 micron. If you have a sump that hold 2-3 socks side by side I would definitely go with the 50. Awesome product!
