However, after reading reviews for this product I figured why not, I could get two cables for less than one of the usb-c to thunderbolt 2 adapters. Imagine how nice it was to get both of my external monitors working on my new iMac. So like others have found if you want to use DVI connections on your external monitors with a new iMac, this is the solution. ### ⭐ Short in the wires *by J***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2019* This product is exactly what I needed, but has not held up to the test of time. I believe that it is due to weak construction and the small wires being stressed. I used to be able to turn the thunderbolt end of the connection around 180 degrees and it would solve the problem for a while, but it has stopped working altogether now. After trying 2 other solutions (the AmazonBasics DVI2HDMI cable and the little gray adapter dongle), this is the one that works with the 2018 Mac Mini.
