When I opened the bottle they were not the color I expected. The vitamins are usually somewhere between dark to medium brown in color. In this bottle they were an amber color. That would have been okay because I know color can change from batch to batch but these were unbelievably sticky and left a sticky residue behind (picture of bowl shows the residue) when handling them. I have always cut them since I started giving them to a 5 week old kitten and she and I liked that we could get 6 "treats" out of one gummi. So a year later, I still cut them so she can get 6 treats. This bottle was difficult to cut because I'm not overly fond of getting my fingers sticky from a gummi and she found them too slippery when she was eating them, although she kept at it even after they keep falling out of her mouth.I gave 3 stars because my cat still likes them but I don't know if it's the way this seller stores them or what.
