I wear a size 10 shoe, so when I use a Dr. Scholl's 3/4 insert, I have to cut off about 1/2 inch, which leaves and uncomfortably thick edge.The FitzSole fits my deck shoes and boots, which are normally hard on the calluses that I get on the ball of each foot.The only reason I give it a "4" is that the heel is not as cushy as the gel-type inserts. If you don't want a cushy bounce to your walk, this insert is for you.
