Only time i can ever hear noise is when my GPU is set to max but that only happens when i manually put it there.LooksCase also looks really good, build materials are nice and it's not that big to boot.AirflowAirflow is great even with the top covered. I added an extra fan (Fractal Design GP-14) based on forum reccomendations and use a pull/pull/push to create postive pressure and my components sit at 50-60 degrees on full load. (gtx980 + 4790k). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fractal does it again! *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2015* I purchased this as an update for the Define R3 case i currently had, the R3 was the first case I worked with that was just a complete joy to build, every other case I have used has had some niggly issues that made PC building infuriating. I was also changing cooler from the Noctua NHD14 to a Corsair H110i water cooler so changing case was wise while having the whole system apart. The window panel is the perfect size without looking too childish.The H110 cooler fits nicely in the top of the case but you have to remove all 3 panels from the top of the case, the rear 120mm fan and also the 5.25" bay to allow it to fit. I wasn't using a DVD drive in this PC so it wasn't an issue but its worth bearing in mind if you want this case with a larger water cooler.The Define R3 was totally silent but you lose that effectiveness on the R5, especially if you water cooling, When the upper panels are removed from the top of the case you only have a mesh grill so no sound absorption is possible. This case also isn't lined with acoustic material like the R3 but it wouldn't be worthwhile as there are so many open joints.I have been delighted with this case so far, very easy to work with, incredible build quality and looks amazing! Would highly recommend any Fractal Design cases. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Can be improved but awesome case *by B***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 August 2017* This is a very simplistic looking case with ample amount of room and great cable managment. This is a great case, the sound deadening material they used works really well. However it makes the case super heavy.I haven't had any heating issue. As my system is air cooled and I have had long gaming sessions and being used daily. It comes with two fans one at the front and one at the back. There are removeable vents on top of the case wich can mount any type of fan or radiator.I have one problem with this case is that the hard drive rack rattles, which it drove me crazy. I had to remove one of the removeable bay/section to make the rattle stops.
