The base and top plate are large, so are ideal for cabinet sizes exceeding 225mm. The top-plate dimensions are 225x225mm, and the footprint is 300x300mm - so they are not ideal for small bookshelf speakers.The SL400's are gorgeous, and they made a noticeable difference to the sound.Floor-spikes are provided, but I didn't receive any gel-pads for the top plate; not to say that I should have, but it would have been appreciated (although, I was expecting it). The RX2's move far too easily on the smooth surface without them.I also added atabites to increase weight and reduce vibrations.These are stands that will last a life-time, aesthetically pleasing, solid, and improve sound quality. What more could you ask for?If I had one gripe, it would be the supplied Atacama stickers.
