RVLock Screen Door Cross Bar Handle, Heavy Duty Camper Grab Bar Protector

1. Fit & Finish - Overall very pleased with the fit and finish of the product and the packaging. Aesthetically very well done overall. 2. Initial Concerns - Would it be the same quality as the Camco version I already had installed, and would it match up to the mounting hole pattern I already had drilled into the screen door. The quality is far superior to the Camco. The molded ABS is much more durable and has tighter tolerancing to the extruded tube making it very rigid once mounted. Although the mounting hole pattern was different (larger spacing center to center) I was able to utilize the bottom mounting hole and drill new top mounting holes. Being that it was a larger spacing the previous holes are now covered by the RVLock bar mounting foot and not visible. 3. Install - The installation process was very simple. I previously had the Camco screen door bar that I replaced with this new RVLock version. I was able to match up the old bar to the new bars feet for finding the correct length without having to measure and easily marked the new screw holes (3 total) on the RVLock bar. To make it even easier it came with a pre sized drill bit for all holes that need to be drilled. After installing the bracketry, I was able to mount directly to the door using the previous bottom mounting holes. Drilled (2) new top mounting holes and screwed in place. Once all (4) screws were secured it is clearly more robust and rigid than the previous Camco. 4. Pairing to existing RVLock Door Handle - Process was very simple and quick. Pulled the plastic tab to engage the battery to start. Oddly enough the reverse side of the provided drill bit fit perfectly into the recessed FOB Learn button. After pushing the learn button followed by a simple press of the lock button on the bar it audibly informed me fob pairing complete. Checked for lock/unlock functionality and worked with no issue. Overall very happy with this product and would highly recommend.

This was a great addition to our RV Lock door latch handle. Install was very easy and the handle feels solid. Locking and unlocking is a breeze with the push buttons. My wife loves it and likes the handle on the screen door.

With a little help with the wife. We had it mounted in 5 minutes. Far better than the janky piece of round wood that was mounted on the door. Construction is solid.

The addition of an RV lock with keyless entry features such as touchpad entry or key fob was a game changer. Locking and unlocking the Atlas RV Lock from the inside of the RV was still the old fashion way of twisting a knob. When we saw that RV Lock incorporated touch button technology coupled with a beefy screen door cross handle, we had to order one to try. Installation was simple and even the proper size drill bit is included in the kit. Now we have a sturdy screen door handle that can also lock and unlock the door with a touch of a button. The added bonus is the sturdy feel of the handle when you open and close your RV door. We are impressed.

Wish I had bought this sooner! Makes opening and shutting the door so much easier. The ability to lock up at night with lock/unlock buttons is nice. When going to bed, just push the button no longer have to flip the lock or look for the remote. The same for walking out in the morning! RVLock Screen Door Cross Bar with Quick Lock is well made and easy to install. The included drill bit saved the time of having to go dig thru the tool box and find the right drill bit to predrill the mounting holes. Total time to install was less than 10 mins. This product works well with RVLock V4 Key Fob and Keyless Entry Keypad already installed on my camper. I will be buying a second one for my second door!

Excellent addition to the inside of my RV door. Could I just flip the switch on the inside of my RV Lock to lock the door, yup. However it is nice to have a stable door handle on the inside of the door. The lock button is an added benefit. It is big enough and provides good grip.

We are full time RVers and odered the Cross Bar with Quick Lock. The first one came in the original product box versus an Amazon box with insulation. The installation was very easy, however the lock would not work probably due to the attached pic that shows the box damage. We called RV Lock customer service and they quickly sent a replacement to a stop where we could receive mail/packages. We installed the replacement only to find out that this will not work if you have the MorRyde StepAbove RV Steps (and probably not with the Lippert SolidStep as well). There is not enough space between the frame of the steps and the screen door where the Cross Bar is attached. The handle on the Cross Bar sticks out enough, that when the steps are in the upright position for travel, it prevents the door from latching closed. We installed it on our other door that has the traditional fold up steps, as we really liked this Cross Bar. It has a very solid feel to it and you can definitely use it to pull the door closed with ease.

Easy install. Huge improvement to feel and use of door! This should be standard when RVs are built.

I haven’t been able to sync all of the products ie lock and handle. The handle made my remotes not work.
