Wyspell Tarot Cards for Beginners - Wild Reflections Unique Tarot Deck

I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m compelled. This is my third deck by this company and I’m in love. The feminine one is second but this so beautiful. Absolutely stunning deck. The 400 GSM matte cardstock, gorgeous gold detailing, and fully illustrated cards make this a pleasure to handle and read with. What impressed me most, though, was the artwork’s portrayal of women. They’re not simply depicted as powerful or beautiful. They’re shown experiencing the full range of human emotion, from heartbreak and vulnerability to confidence, wisdom, and triumph. Every illustration feels intentional and tells its own story. The colors are gorgeous, the symbolism is thoughtful, and the artwork makes me want to spend time studying every card. This has quickly become one of my favorite decks, and I own quite a few!

I initially started learning to read tarot cards using the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck, memorizing the meanings for the images and symbols. I wanted to learn to interpret the cards more intuitively though, so I purchased this deck. The images are beautifully drawn, featuring diverse characters in contemporary settings: hiking in the woods, riding a bike, doing yoga, dancing on the beach. But they also have a mystical look to them, with flecks of light giving the scenes a magical sparkle. There's still a connection to the general RWS themes - i.e. the Ten of Cups still features a "happy family," but here the mom is wearing jeans, and the young son is wearing a striped shirt holding a ball. The Five of Pentacles shows a man "out in the cold" walking through snow, passing by a warm, inviting cabin in the woods. On the cards, pentacles are represented by sunflowers, cups by seashells, swords by arrows, and wands by decorated poles. I found it easy to connect with the vivid images on this deck - it was easier for me to intuitively understanding the messages. Overall, a great deck! The hand-drawn artwork is stunning, the colors rich and deep, and the matte finish card stock feels good and shuffles smoothly. The edges of the cards have a gilded gold finish. The cards come in a sturdy heavy cardboard storage box with lid. Very happy with this purchase. This will be one of my favorite go-to decks!

The cards: It is high quality card stock, the size is just exactly not too big for my small hands to be able to shuffle the deck, but it's still a stretch for my fingers. The matte finish is very nicely done. As you can see in the photo, it still has some shine in the lighting. It is the perfect card stock, it strikes the ideal balance between flexibility and stiffness. The artwork: I find the artwork very engaging and great for intuitive reading along with traditional tarot interpretation. The artwork feels to me to have a similarity to the art style of Chris-Anne's work with her famed Light Seers Tarot. But the pictures are different and distinct from her work. It is obvious that the creators of the Wild Reflections deck were inspired and influenced by the work of Chris-Anne and they are fans of her. I have included a picture showing a comparison of cards from both decks to give you an understanding of why I feel they were inspired by Chris-Anne's work. (Note: I included the 4 of Swords of Light Seers Tarot with The World of Wild Reflections Tarot because while the art aesthetic is different, I feel the poses of the women and the general feel of the images are very similar.) The Pentacles suite is represented by sunflowers. The Cups suite uses seashells. The Swords suite is represented with arrows. Wands are still represented with staffs, with the notable exception of the Ace of Wands which features a bonsai tree. I very much appreciate the beautiful diversity of the people represented in these cards. I like the modern aesthetic that brings the classic Rider-Waite-Colman deck into the twenty-first century. The images are gorgeous and I find myself pausing often to admire the art during readings. My favorite card is The Hierophant, it's the card that made me seek out and purchase this deck.

Products from Wyspell are wonderful and this deck is a winner. The card material and weight feel just right and they are comfortable to use. The messaging is spot on and the rich colors make this deck really great. The deck was also a great value. The lettering was easy to read!!!

This deck of cards is absolutely beautiful and hands down, my favorite deck I own so far. From the art work to the matte sheen finish, I give 5 stars and a recommend as a must have deck to own. The feeling these cards presented when I opened the deck gave me a smile. The cards have a gold filter edge and the cardstock is strong, seems waterproof and pliable. It comes with a small guide book that provides reversal meanings.

So far this is my favorite deck out of all of my Tarot and Oracle decks. The quality of the cards, the thickness of the PVC is just right. The artwork and imagery, the guidebook, even the antique gold edges are just perfect. They are very easy to shuffle, but not so slippery that they’re difficult to handle. They sturdy and feel good in hand. I highly recommend. Lots of fun to work with .. this will be a valuable tool in my work.

I’m only saying this specifically because there’s mention of the quality card stock..but they’re thin and flimsy. I still like them but since they’re so light and thin and slippery, shuffling is a bit tricky. Just beware 🫶 The imagery is beautiful for the most part- there are a few where the symbolism, the imagery in the card don’t really feel like they are reflecting the general meanings we all know with tarot cards. A couple of them feel pretty flat to me. But I paid $13 for a tarot deck off of Amazon, so all things considered 🤷🏻‍♀️

This deck is wonderful, so much so I did a reading for my aunt with it and she loved the cards so much that she wanted this deck, so I ordered it for her.

Gorgeous deck! The cards simply speak to you! The gold gilded edging makes them even more gorgeous! Cardstock is not thick and they are so easy to shuffle. Just another beautiful deck to add to my collection! So happy! Highly recommend it!

As cartas são lindas, mas o deck veio com defeito. Veio com o naipe de Espadas inteiro cortado de tamanho diferente das outras cartas, está sem a borda dourada embaixo nesse mesmo naipe, marcas nas bordas de batido e arranhado nos cantos do deck todo. Deck mal feito ou usado.
