So far it hasn’t been too hot or in any way uncomfortable. The main pocket is dark and is only divided with an internal zippered pouch. I like the mid-vertical divider found on more expensive Tomtoc models, but this holds my IPhone, battery backup, Ridge wallet, ear buds, lip balm, assorted cables, notepad and pen. I can even sneak in my Kindle but not a lot more after that. I bought it to use as a flight bag for on-plane necessities so I can keep my carry-on stowed away overhead. I hope to also carry it while touring but a larger sling would fit all this plus a small packable backpack hidden inside, along with a light jacket or rain poncho. I wish I could wear this waist bag as a converted sling but the strap is too short for this to be comfortable, and really not designed to be a sling anyway. I really like the way the belt clicks into place inside a covered portion of the bag; this feels secure because it would be difficult for a bad actor to un-click it and hurry away with my belongings.
