I use Hindenburg Journalist for editing and it is terrific with the Podtrak, even for a beginner like me. **Q: Can i hear my friends talking through my headphones while recording a podcast?** A: You would be able to monitor each input on the P4 using the 1-4 headphone outputs. **Q: Say you are recording a phone call, do you talk on the phone as normal, both audio sources are recorded direct to memory card?** A: You talk into your own mic. Think of the phone as a separate mic for your guest.
