They are strongly magnetic, and quite heavy, so wouldn't "stick" with anything else on plastic! **Q: I bought these in September and the one on the bonnet has discoloured the paint. It won’t polish out and I’ve been quoted £250 to respray the bonnet.** A: At the moment we have not had this problem as we do not leave them on the car. We only put the L plates on when out driving then take them off on our return.
