Spark Control X Wireless Footswitch for Spark Series Amps

Well made, pairs and works well with Spark 2 and Spark Mini adding a lot of additional functionality.

A perfect addition to the Spark 2 amplifier, allowing fully wireless control mapped across a bunch of kick switches. Great for performance, practice or just trying to pretend you are a Rock Star. A solid and reliable piece of kit at a good price. Would recommend.

Excellent wireless for controller for all the Spark products. (I got mine to use with the Spark 2.) Once you've sorted the Bluetooth connection, it works seamlessly. Well made, with bombproof metal casing, bright lights...and comes with some clear plastic overlays, so you can write (and re-write) which buttons do what, using water based pens. Highly recommended and a great addition to your Positive Grid gear!

You need to power your Control X before you turn on your spark amp. Add that directive in your operating tutorial. Very confusing.

A good controller that is well made. Connects very quickly to the amp. It comes with transparent plastic sheets can layer on top of the pedal and if you buy a wipe-able pen you can wipe off and change when swap over presets. There is a slight lag when press a pedal, but short, but you quickly get used to the timing of when to press. These is no break in sound, it is purely a slight lag between the switch over that is easily managed. I am glad that I bought it.

Astonishing piece of kit - I’ve had it a week and have already got some really good results - in a few more weeks I’ll be much more adept . I got battery, foot switch and wire less leads which all work really well . Very impressed !

My biggest gripe with this is the need to go through the app as a middle man. This makes this useless for live so I ended up returning it. The functionality is great and they could have solved this but allowing a usb C to C connection to work between the footswitch and the amp to bypass the app and I would have been happy with that. For me the airstep was a better choice.

Easy to set up and get working, nicely engineered and feels a quality product, not tried it as a looper with my Spark 2 yet, but have been told that it does.

Funciona muy bien... después de actualizar el firmware a la última versión (con la que venía de serie tenía bastante retardo entre que pisabas los botones y se aplicaban los cambios). Con la última versión funciona de fábula. El único engorro es que no se empareja automáticamente con el ampli (SparK Edge) cuando lo enciendes, sino que tienes que presionar el botón del Bluetooth del ampli para que se empareje.

Great pedal

This thing is amazing. I have the Spark 2 and honestly its been awesome. I will say it is annoying that I need to reach behind the amp and sync to connect every single time. The XSONIC airstep spk edition connects immediately after being turned on which is great, however, it requires a power cycle and certain buttons to be pushed to change the mode. This was way more annoying to me than just connecting it once each time I decide to play. I can change modes and change my sounds easily on this one. The looper is also pretty easy to use and much better then any other alternative thus far. The battery life seems great so far and its feels like its built pretty tough so I'm not worried about banging it around. There are complaints of the buttons being too close together and using this on a stage could be difficult but I disagree I just put some footswitch toppers on the top row only and now its not a problem at all. You can assign each button to something specific which is great I like to have my "Drive" pedal in the easiest to reach spot so I assigned it to the bottom left corner and that has worked for me. While this is more expensive than the Airstep its incredibly compatible with the Spark 2. Overall, I would say if you have the Spark 40 or the Spark GO then get the Airstep because I feel it works better and its cheaper. If you have the Spark 2 then its a no brainer get this it just works so well with it. It also replaced my whole pedal board at a fraction of the cost. It was easy to justify all I needed to do was sell a pedal or 2 and it paid for itself. If there was an update that made it so this could connect immediately after power up then I wouldn't have anything negative to say about it.
