It came but broke after only a couple of hours. Cust svc sent a replacement and that has worked just fine! We now have 2 of these and each cost less than $10 and well worth the price. I had just returned a faulty light to Amazon (different style than this one) when I ordered this one. I loved it when it arrived on November 9th. I absolutely LOVED IT. Three levels of light, easy to turn on & off, and I could actually see my entire keyboard! Today, January 6th, it began acting like a strobe light periodically. At least the light I sent back had the decency to fail within the return window. Oh well. I may need to accept that I’ll never find one that lasts more than a couple of months. I did get what I ordered, a lamp. This provides me with no more light than single taper candle. If you were backpacking in a tent and had no other light source, I guess it would be better than nothing. I really can't understand why you would make such a dim lamp.
