This is a huge time saver. I should have bought this sooner. If you make leather goods with any size straps, or any belts, this is a must have at twice the price.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this trimmer. I've tended to stick with the well known brands for leather tools because I've been bitten in the past. This thing, however is solid as a rock and cuts very well. I used it to make about 10 belts for friends and it still cuts great. It is a little fiddly to set the width since it can get skewed, but I just use a straight piece of the leather I plan to trim to set the gap. I would also recommend clamping it down to a work surface, but I've gotten away with not doing that. If you're making more than a couple leather straps, this trimmer is well worth it.

This has been a HUGE help in my leather business. Branded bevelers are super overpriced in my opinion. This one I could afford. I just clamp it to my table when I need it. The blades are still super sharp but I may try to find an extra set to have on hand.

This is sturdy and built well. This is a 5 star product for use on leathers under 10oz. The size of the opening will not allow for saddle skirting to be passed through

We craft a lot of leather products and we try to do it on a budget, so we're always looking for lower cost alternatives to the super expensive name brand components. This edge trimmer does work. You have to anchor it to a solid work surface and you're going to have to use some force. Alignment and adjustment are crucial. But once you get it set, it will produce really nice rounded edges.

Adjust it right and it works great

So far I have only put a couple of belt straps through this.but it does leave a very nice fished edge. I'm not sure how it will do long term, but so far it's great.
