Review: Excellent talking kitchen scales - The only reason these didn’t get five stars overall for me is because there isn’t a volume adjustment on them and it is permanently loud, but better that than too quiet to hear. They measure to 1 g which is better than the equivalence I have seen from Cobalt or RNIB and just as importantly (as far as my wife is concerned) they look much nicer too. Obviously the measuring jug takes up room to store but the scales are easy just to slot away when not in use. I haven’t used them extensively yet but I am very happy with what I have seen so far. whilst the voice isn’t quite as clear as say Daniel on the iPhone voice-over, it is perfectly clear enough and good enough for the job.
