I take it on all of my photo shoots around the world. I have every capture safely stored on CD's & DVD's. Just as well. When an external hard drive gave me problems I just went to my CD's or DVD's and reinstalled them. Other photographers on my shoots are amazed that I have everything running when dinner time comes. They are still down loading their cards at the dinner table. I never use the battery option as this requires a fully charged battery to function. I will one day purchase a car adapter to run whilst driving. This has not been necessary in the past but would be nice to have. DVD's only hold 7GB so a 4GB card is the biggest card I have.
