Review: Feels like 20 year old tech - Why did it appear as 'Matts Helmet' when it connected to my phone? I think it had been used before. Complete nightmare to update using tech that belongs in the stone age. Haven't had it out on the road yet but already I'm not impressed.
Review: Don't bother..... - Upgraded from SLR2 for my shoei neotec 2 helmet. So disappointed. It's useless. Sound quality, although better than the 2 there isn't much in it. Can't hear the music above 50mph. Senna voice commands are very hit and miss. Love the idea of an intergrated system, just a pity it's this pile of........ will be looking at cardo or similar for a replacement.

The Sena SL3 is a very sleek unit, specifically designed for the Shoei Geotech3 helmet. This Sena is embodied in the helmet and there is no little device hanging on the side of your helmet. The speakers are improved and the sound is better than the previous units. Unfortunately, the downside is that they haven’t improved the coms distance between riders. Overall I’m very pleased with the performance, the look and the relatively easy installation. And one other thing that is convenient, the unit is charged through a port on the back of the helmet.
