I don't want that. Any way to disable that feature?** A: I’m pretty sure since these are designed to be hardwired that it is assumed that they are on all of the time. With that said, it should only be doing what you’re describing one time, right after you install it. However, it sounds like you have a separate switch connected to it where you are manually controlling the power to it for some reason and the light is coming on every time you initially power it. The only other scenario that I can think of is following a power outage which shouldn’t be happening enough to worry about it.
