For the Hendrix family and Eddie Kramer etc. to be able to put together something of this magnitude, after all these years, is a tribute to them and Hendrix himself. This is basically a chance to hear Hendrix and friends, including the original Experience and Band of Gypsys, jamming in the studio. No pressure, no strings attached, just raw music. If you are hoping to discover a new, never before heard track along the lines of 'Voodoo Chile' or 'Purple Haze' then you are dreaming. Go look for a unicorn instead. This is a fantastic insight into the depth and diversity of Hendrix, some beautiful music, and any true fan would be (and should be) very glad to add this to their collection. However this is one of the best Jimi Hendrix albums ever! Sounds like it could have been that fourth studio album that he never quite got finished before his untimely death.
