Therefore, it should work with a heat strip. **Q: Does this have to be connected with rj11 or can it be wired in? (i have a digital controller)** A: It has the rf port. I used it in my motherhood which was already wired. If your a good wire Individual, you might be able yo open it and direct connect. I would host by a extention length of cable and connect the appropriate wires from your current model.
