The connection with the mics is fast once you turn on the receiver. No drop off or interference. A much better solution than using the 3.5mm cable. The adapter mounts fast and easy and is unobtrusive. I saw a couple reviews online that said it would be better if the adapter could be turned so you could see it from the front of the camera (it can't), but I have found that to be no issue; if videoing from the front of the camera, you would have the display screen rotated so you can see it from the front, and you get the "green lines" on the screen so you can see what the mics are doing.
