## Description

Experienced gardeners know that happy toads are valuable garden residents, and these handmade pottery domes provide the secure, dark, and damp habitat that garden toads find so cozy. The design features an applied vine accent with a textured surface to encourage moss formation.Anthony Stoneware is the pottery of Paul Anthony and Tim Jaqua, who work from their studio in Western North Carolina using traditional techniques of wheel-throwing and slab construction. They create custom glazes and fire their pottery in a gas kiln which they designed and built. Due to the dynamic nature of handmade pottery, glaze colors and textures will vary somewhat. French Blue varies the most, trending between washed blue and medium blue. These variations are what make each piece unique and confirm the pottery's artisan roots.

The toad houses are exactly what’s represented on the website — each a little different in size and finishing, perfect for providing a nice ornamental home.  The paint and enamel is very well done, and the colors match the web pictures.  Very satisfied with the purchase.
