It follows Daniella "Daisy" Maria and her childhood best friend, Levi Coldwell, f, who reunite years after a heartbreaking split, leading them into a fake-dating scheme. Honestly, the friends-to-lovers dynamic is one of my personal favorites, and this book executed it perfectly. From the first moment they reconnect, the chemistry and the depth of their history leap off the page (or, in this case, through my headphones!) Speaking of Levi, he is truly one of the best book boyfriends I've encountered! His emotional maturity (once they finally get past the initial communication hurdles) and grand gestures are just everything. The fact that he wrote a whole book for her? My heart absolutely melted! That gesture alone solidifies this as a top-tier romance. If you are looking for a sweet, genuinely romantic story with a hero like Levi, and a narrative that feels like a cozy, feel-good movie, this is it. I loved loved this book and highly recommend the audio version!
