Decided to give these a try. We bought the counter height size for our island. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these. The wood looks awesome. The color is very close to the pictures. These are very sturdy and feel solid! They are not tippy at all. I am 6'3" 260lbs and they feel great to me. There is a foot bar across the front and it is perfect for my wife to put her feet on while sitting to support her legs since she is shorter than me. (5'3") The foot bar is very solid. They are surprisingly comfortable as well with the contours for your butt. We had wooden stools before which were always coming loose and needing retightening. These will not need that. These are a home run!
