Having read the reviews I was a little sceptical about the sponge part of the feeder, and have to agree it does dry out quite quickly, but the little cups are brilliant. I have used them a couple of times to place tired bees I have found in the garden, but this little bee stopped by for some refreshments all on its own. I would recommend the item for this feature alone as it’s a handy spot to place tired bees you find in the garden. I used sugar water in the cups and on the sponge, it was lovely to see this bee making use of the facilities and then flying away.The feeder itself is well made and I feel value for money.
