I’m so excited to write this review!I bought the Adidas Original Swift Run January 2020, they were excellent for my home workouts doing hiit cardio daily and strength training. But I knew I wanted a new pair once I started wearing down the soul inside the shoe on my big toe and ball of my foot and it was helping my socks get holes quicker, I slipping out easily and there just felt like too much space.I saw the Swift Run 23 for sale on prime day and for the perfect price I decided to purchase them. What an excellent Swift shoe from Adidas once again!!!!Now I’m not a fitness expert but I will share what I have liked and compare with the original.I first noticed the weight of the shoe as I carried the box down my long driveway, they are very lightweight. I did have to size down recommended by adidas and other reviews (I wear 8.5 and I bought 8) Sliding into the shoe for the first time was easy and a good snug fit. I personally love the sock fit of the shoe top, it is breathable. The 2029 swift shoe back is not very supportive or sturdy, but this new one has stronger material and for good ankle support. As you see in my video I can easily wiggle all my toes and they have room without feeling like there’s too much space. Which can be dangerous running and jumping around.The color 😍 I love the gold accent on the white tongue, the tan leather strips are a nice design and I normally like a white soul, but the nude is pretty neat. The colors all complement each other. Speaking of the soul, compared to the 2020 swift, I really like the extra layers the new one has, more cushion for activity is always great and gives me energy for the next action!! I know this is something you can change, but I did not like the shoe laces from the original, they are like 10ft long and I had to double knot it cause I would step on them and untie them. The new laces are quite shorter and thicker, they should hold very well!I’m looking forward to many years with this pair of shoes and knowing adidas makes good quality product I don’t expect to have to modify this review in any negative way.Do I recommend this product?
