Good journal, poor choice of paper
I think this is a great journal and covers a lot of emotions. The only issue I have is the texture of the paper. It is that of a regular book, not smooth and sleek like a journal. This has caused my hand to get raw and painful after writing for just a few minutes. I wouldn’t buy this again because of that issue but the content is good.

A Helpful Tool for Therapy and Inner Work
This was my first shadow work book, and honestly, I feel lucky I found it. Alongside my therapy sessions, this workbook supported me in healing some of my deepest inner wounds. The book didn’t do the work for me, my resilience and strength did, guided by the presence of my therapist. Shadow work isn’t easy, and it’s not something to approach lightly, but this workbook served as a powerful companion, like meaningful extra homework I could do at night

Good, But Not Great
There were some good points about this, it did have some beneficial education and explanation about the why's of our past trauma affecting us today. Overall, I felt it really needed more about why to do shadow work, what it means as a whole, and better prompts for the journaling pages. I can see it may have been a trend on social media a while back, but there are other workbooks and journals that get more into the psychological and spiritual aspect, which is why I purchased something on this topic.

The cover is literally so glossy and beauitful, i love the black and white. The pages look amazing and i love the prompts and all of them. I love the reading part too, really gave me some new insight. This book will change me and i cannot wait. Only thing i wish was there was more exercises where we didn’t have to write because i loved those :)
