Amma Diarylo Konni Pageelu by Ravi Mantri Garu is beautiful rollercoaster ride into the depths of love, longing, belonging, death, and a fresh start. The book revolves around Sarika and Abhiram, who love eachother, who make their worlds one, but due to circumstances, divided. The book delves into the intricacies of love, life and relationships in a beautifully poignant way. *spoiler alert* My favourite person from the book - ofc Nandu, is as rare as a diamond! His love for Sarika was so deep that he was willing to go to any extent for her happiness - giving up his own love for her. I cried when he expressed his past, his realisation and then his abundant love, which he carefully managed to keep hidden. His support for her, his care and concern were lovely! His life in itself was a beautiful journey. His death was- I just can't come in terms with it tbh(it sounds funny but it isn't). He deserves better. Ravi Mantri Garu did a TERRIFIC job spinning each character in a beautiful sense. The depth of each character, their development, their portrayal was splendid. Every character has a philosophy to teach, a lesson to learn. This book made my laugh, cry(very very hard esp when N died) and relieved at all the right places. The way the author wrote felt less like reading and more like watching all the characters pan out in front of me and do what they are doing.
