The boxes are not branded, just brown cardboard with printed short description of the content, part of which says "3 metal blades". Not so. The blades are thin plastic, so this information is misleading. I have reported to Amazon that purchasers SHOULD be told this. The cover grid is a mesh (which I prefer) metal.I am also concerned that other than the instruction leaflet (the fan must be assembled), there is no warranty details, nothing.The fan/s look reasonable with the exception of the blades, and I await assistance to wall mount them. The origin is China.They are OK, if they do function properly.(...........I would add that THIS is a genuine review..................)UPDATE - 31 May 2018: There was a delay in installing the fans, which were put up very recently.The base is darker than the blade cover which is white along with the remote, but this is something that becomes largely unnoticeable because (as long as it continues!) this is an excellent fan! It does the job beautifully and responds instantly to the remote.It is easy to put together, though the instructions are a little unclear being in 'foreign' english. There are no matching slots to 'fit the 3 pins on the base into', BUT: the base cover has lots of slots, and my installer was able to get those pins to fit securely through them.Customer service from this seller was excellent! The centre cover had pronounced 'Tabooh' writing on it, and the seller was happy to send me a blank white centre/s; which arrived promptly.My request for instructions on the timer (which were not on the instruction leaflet), was sent instantly by the seller.Overall I have updated because the product IS good. It works beautifully and the seller is responsive and helpful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job *by S***S on 1 May 2024* This fan is good. I didn't find it easy too assemble or install, luckily my partner is a dab hand. I like that I have more floor space compared to my floor fan.
