Review: CHEAP - We had an ethernet adapter for our Chromebook before this for over a year, but the weight of the cable hanging off the adapter eventually took its toll on the cable and it failed. So we went with this product, which was more expensive but I thought it may be worth saving the trouble--NOT. It worked fine for a month or two, but then suddenly stopped connecting to the internet. I tried it on my Windows 10 laptop to ensure that it was the adapter and not the Chromebook--sure enough, it cannot connect to the internet on my laptop either. Tried resetting it and running Windows Diagnostics and it just says it doesn't have a valid IP address--because it can't talk to the router to get one! Get a different brand adapter!
