Great value and an uplift on your built in mic
Previously I had a Yeti Blue and large swing arm, but that set up loomed over my small office. So I replaced it with this much small mic. The quality is perfectly acceptable for Teams/Zoom and making voice notes. I would not use it for podcasting (but in fairness, that is not what it was intended to do). Has the huge advantage of being portable so not only can i use it in my home office, but I can take it with me when I travel. This mic provides a definite uplift on the built in mic, is clear, makes the sound substantially better and, most of all, is excellent value for money.

Works well for dictation.
Much better for dictation than my Apple Studio mic array.

Good but with a caveat
Unfortunately it captures background sounds, it does have a good quality but it’s not suitable if you have someone sitting around you.

Good For A laptop.
This arrives in a box which contains the shotgun microphone, a mounting bracket, a USB C to USB C lead, a USB C to USB A adapter and instructions. This was recognised immediately when connected to my Windows 11 PC. The initial microphone volume setting was quite low on my PC so I increased it to 100%. The microphone has a touch sensor on the top which you touch to mute or to turn noise the cancelling feature on. The one problem with this is with your finger on the top for a long press you cannot see the colour of the light, you can only see the colour when you remove your finger and only then do you know if you have turned noise cancelling on. It would have been better if they had a separate indicator light. I also think they missed a trick by the mounting bracket not having a standard 1/4 inch thread as then it could be mounted on a tripod or boom arm. The microphone itself is compact and does not sound bad, it is very sensitive though. I have attached a video of the microphone sound. The video was recorded using OBS and there were no filters applied to the input. You could probably get it sounding better with the use of filters, like a noise gate, equaliser and compressor etc. In conclusion I think this would be good for a laptop setup as it should be better than the internal microphone. For PC though I think there are better options available for creating YouTube videos, albeit some options costing a lot more. I will play around with this in OBS adding filters to see if I can get it sounding better, if so, I will use it as a simple option to add voice overs to videos. I hope you found this review helpful.

Does a great job at a good price
Nice piece of kit for the money. Very easy to set up, the stand I have flipped to use as a desk stand rather than screen mounted and it’s worked a treat. I have used it mainly for conference calls and team meetings after my laptop built in mic was starting to clarity and volume issues. Feedback is that my sound quality is significantly better now than it was and my presentations are once again a thriving virtual room of wonderment as opposed to a reoccurring debate over what I should be doing with my audio setting to be clearer. Great purchase. Very happy.

Great for video conferencing
Absolutely brilliant. I needed a good mike that didn't sit in view of the other participants and would still clearly capture my voice, whether I was sitting back in the chair or up close leaning on my desk. Would highly recommend. Had it 3 months now with no problems at all.

Easy to install & use
Our lap top mike started going on the blink, so I got this remote one, which works brilliantly.

Faulty product - AVOID!
EDIT: Product stopped working less than a month after acquisition. AVOID! First of all, a lot of my devices refuse to recognise this device. I got it to use with work laptop but that one doesn't recognise it, nor does my phone or my iMac. My Macbook and Windows PC do recognise it, so its not totally useless. I may still return though. The sound quality is decent but the noise cancellation feature is useless and should be avoided. It takes half the sound out of your voice and makes the audio unlistenable. I would've liked this more if the mount had a 1/4" thread I could use.

Surprisingly good, esp for the price! Semi-hidden ANC function is a nice bonus
Purchased this for a simple solution to improve Zoom calls, vs using web cam or laptop mics. The mount is typical clip on like a webcam, but with a small gimbal to adjust direction and of the mic. It's simple a simple USB-C connection, and comes with a USB-A adapter if needed. Plug and play. No software or drivers needed. Works automatically with Zoom, Google Meet, Voice Memos, or pretty much anything I've tried with it. No problems on Macs, including latest M-series chips. Sound wise, it's super clear and a clear step up from built in mics. Because of the pickup pattern, noise to the sides and back are great reduced. The mic is def tuned for voice and video conferencing in particular. The mic construction seems very solid (metal housing) and the mute button provides a convenient LED to indicate when the mic is muted. The mic mute does not sync with the Zoom UI though, so you the LED is handy. It's compact and can be tossed in a bag without worry. There is a semi-hidden active noise cancellation function. Press and hold the mute to enable/disable it (led alternates between blue and green). This might help in particularly noisy environments, like a coffee shop or open office, and is an unexpected bonus, even if you have it disabled.
