The instruction manual isn't very descriptive but this ultrasonic cleaner has only two buttons, an on/off and a timer, so it was pretty easy to figure out how to get it to work. The cleaner doesn't self heat so I recommend heating the water before use, it will work much better that way. The description mostly described using for jewelry, glasses, etc but used it for cleaning a small motorcycle carburetor. It was a little small for this purpose but it did clean it quite well with just water and some degreaser. All in all, I am pleased with the capabilities of this Ultrasonic Cleaner and I think it is a good choice for the light duty cleaning of any small items that one needs to clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Works, but instructions are severely lacking *by N***7 on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2024* First off, know that the directions are really lacking in this unit. It took research on my part to figure out what degassing was and why it was necessary. The instructions barely mention how to put the unit in degassing mode and definitely don't say when to use it. Secondly, don't use water with this expecting noticeable results. For testing purposes, I used some dirty pennies that I tried to clean. After using tap water at different time intervals, there was no noticeable difference in the pennies. It wasn't until I used Simple Green cleaner in the machine that I noticed the pennies were cleaner.Also, know that this machine is quite noisy. I don't recommend this for use in the home. Keep it in the garage or shop. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Limited instructions *by A***W on Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2024* The instructions for this are not very user friendly. Not only does it not tell you what every part is for ( there's a white plastic slotted bridge) I have no clue what it's for. When trying to figure out how to work properly it gives more attention to troubleshooting than to proper utilization. The first thing I noticed upon operation is the timer is off. 5 minutes was more along the lines of 3-4 and the 3 minutes was more like 2. I do not know how much that matters to cleaning but will update once I try a few things.Just cleaned fiancé's engagement ring, ran a 5 minutes-ish cycle and 3 minutes-ish cycle. There seems to be a bunch of gunk from it in the bottom of the pan so that's a plus.I originally bought it to clean coins safely and depending on how well and if I causes any damage I'll add or subtract stars.
