It is heat activated and is most effective for glass and aluminum printing beds. It can be used on non-heated beds with a blow dryer or heat gun to activate the adhesive before printing. Application: Apply a smooth, even layer to your printing area. A spare piece of paper can be used to spread the adhesive, then discarded. It is recommended to remove the print while the bed is still hot/warm. Filabond should last several prints before needing to be re-applied. Removal: Filabond is best removed by saturating the adhesive with water or window cleaner (windex or comparable). Let sit for 5-10 minutes, and carefully scrape off with a flat razor blade. Filabond is not a miracle adhesive that will solve all your filament adhesion issues right out of the bottle. I tried Filabond - 3D Printer Glue on application and I got three prints and my kapton is unaffected. I suggest a foam paint brush to spread the slurry, My first time I applied it, I used an old credit card as a spatula and I got a skimpy spread on it.
