Dimming thermostats supply constant variable power amounts to the heating device. This means that MicroClimate dimming thermostats can give an accurate almost constant temperature with no major fluctuations between on and off periods. The dimming thermostat is good for anything which emits light as it will not turn off the light once the temperature is reached, keeping a full daytime period for your reptile instead of multiple mini sun sets and sun rises! I am impressed, it’s very satisfying to know that a steady temperature is being maintained in my vivarium. It may not be right for my needs though, I only have a 3 foot viv but it’s quite tricky to get the right temperature gradient with this. I think I would be better off with two heat sources and a dual microclimate, but that’s not a problem with the product so five stars all the way

I used to use habistats but was advised to go over to microclimate thermostat B1 it's the best thing I ever done and well worth the money.As regarding the seller I can't praise them enough the ease, speed and quality of the product I will use seller again.. many thanks
