The reason why I believe why I see bad ratings on this game is it's more difficult than fifa 14. In fifa 14 you could rely on the cpu to assist you in many aspects of the game. In fifa 15 you are more in control of the whole game which I enjoy. Also the goalkeepers are improved greatly in this game. I have read some reviews where they say goalkeeping is horrible which I don't understand. The only way I can see that is if they are playing on a lower difficulty but if you are playing on either of the top 2 difficulties be prepared for the goalies to make saves only spiderman could. Also for the ultimate team code you will not get 40 packs right as you enter the code. You will get one pack a week just like it was last year. Overall this is a great game and a must buy. Review: Not better than FIFA14, but different, in a good way. - --- Impressions after about 1 week playing --- Below comments are still true, but the additional time playing with the game allowed me to confirm or support this: 1)GKs are really bad. Their behaviour is inconsistent. On some occasions they fly over the air to save balls like spiderman. On others, they concede goals on from their closest pole, which is unacceptable. But hopefully this can be fixed via patch. 2)EA servers still have some instabilities, but it is getting better. The web app is much more stable now. It was partially down and really slow about a week ago (I am on PS4 , if that helps) 3)Headers after a cross from an almost superhuman winger, are pretty much gone :-) 4)Defending is a bit challenging now and that's good. So people who was relying on contain...got news.. you guys will have to learn how to defend and manually use your CDMs and CBs, lol ... 5)Players get a lot of injuries. Still don't know if this is because stamina or a bug. Having a secondary team and rotate seems to help. Do not use fitness cards, that's a waste of money. A formation that I used online and seems to fit the new FIFA engine: False 9. Offline I've used 433 attack but using it online requires more skills, as defending is much more challenging now. Also, using the ST for headers is not as useful anymore (see #3) so 433 attack seems to be less effective on this release. I may try 41212 and see how it goes. I still believe this is a good FIFA game. Maybe a 3.5 star in order to be more fair (desertcart does not let you rate based on half stars). Definitely not an steller release. I am a bit disappointed because I was expecting more AI improvements than just appearance tweaks. It is nice that the pitch shows sign of use after a few min, that players grab people jerseys, but I prefer better dribbling and improved AI than the visual aspect of the game. I don't like to write quick reviews, so I took some time and played a few games (Ultimate Team mainly). Here are my impressions so far and I will upvote or downvote my review as the time passes: Like; -Trough ball perfect passes seem to be fixed. So no more people abusing of this glitch online. -Difficult to score via corners or with crosses. Same as above and I don't see this as an issue -Dribbling is way more precise. So you can use lower pace players like Ronaldinho and break defenses easier. I got the feeling like high pace players like Ibarbo will be less effective on this edition, which I like it too. -Slower pace and more build it up type of game, more realistic, which again, I like -Very realistic players on the pitch. They move like real people playing "futbol". My wife was impressed when she saw me playing, lol ... -GUI and menus were nicely improved. I like how the Team Management section looks now and it's great that now you can position your players higher or lower on the pitch. Don't like -Shooting is more difficult now, especially if you are out of the box. I can't tell yet if this is because I need more time to learn the new way to shoot or because EA just broke the shooting system. -Spiderman GKs. I mean, we all knew GK AIs was a joke, but it seems that EA made them invincible, especially on harder modes. -Too many injuries, same player. Some players get injured all the time.
