(Note that no 3.5mm audio cables come with the selector, so you may need to buy some.) I chose this A-B switch because it was the smallest switch box of its type I could find. It's thin enough (<1 inch) to fit into the tiny crowded slot under my car's stereo controls, with the connected cords tucked out of sight behind it and the A / B switches accessible on top. Press one of the A / B switches and the other one pops up with a satisfying physical click, changing the audio source without any unwanted noises through the speakers. Used to switch between headphones and speakers on my gaming pc, i'm writing this review after using it for a day. Feels sturdy and well-made. Very light. Looks good; small, black, only slightly clunky. It has little rubber feet on the bottom to stop it from sliding, but they don't work. The buttons work well, pressing one releases the other. They're labeled A and B by default, there's room to add a label. One major problem is that it makes the audio noticeably quieter, at least for my headphones. Not sure why this is. My speakers are only slightly quieter, but my system volume needs to be at 100% to get a good volume (loud but doesn't hurt my ears) on the headphones, whereas they're extremely loud when i just plug them into my pc. It's not really a big deal, i think it might come from the added cable length from the audio cord going from the pc to the switch. It doesn't come with a cord, you will need to plug at least one male/male 3.5mm cord into it as well as your other devices (depending on how you use it.
