Private Garden? Yes Please!
Surprisingly, I did not get this for the reason people think. I don't have a backyard and wanted to grow fruits, veggies, and recently succulents. It always starts as a small thing for me and grows to... well... buying 2 large grow tents. It has been an amazing experience, to say the least. I got their tents, inline fans, controllers, and oscillating fans. None of the products have been disappointing. This tent has great zippers that block out the light. You might want to get something for the extra utility holes if smell is your concern. They only use a string tightening. However, the tent does great under negative pressure (the sides of the tent even move my planter on wheels a little when I have my inline fan on higher settings). The material of the tent feels extremely sturdy, and I certainly put it through the ringer setting it up alone in a small space. Setting it up was easy if you follow the directions (and have the room to lay out the cover). The bars to hang things off of at the top are well made. I have multiple grow lights hanging off of them, along with a carbon filter and fan in each tent. The only teeny tiny cons I have are: The zippers only zip from the outside, so it's hard to close inside. The tent is so tight against the frame that it's hard to wrap anything on the outer framing. (Again, this one is so small because they give you plenty to hang off of outside of these. I just wanted to wrap cables around it for relief, but I had to hang them on other bars.) Lastly, the dimensions are the outside dimensions. This isn't a big deal. They probably state it somewhere. I personally have 2x4 planters that slightly don't fit, so it's a bit of a personal con. But please don't let those cons chase you off. These are great tents. They feel like a personal hiding space where I can garden to my hearts content.

Top of the line - AC Infinity continues to impress me.
Huge fan of the entire AC Infiniti ecosystem, and this tent definitely does them justice. I have a few different tents from the company, and this one like the others is very easy to put together. Maybe get somebody else to help get it over the top, but very easy to put together and the instructions are thorough for any setup. I have not been victim to any light leakage, and the tent fits perfectly over the structure provided. Definitely a high quality material as well compared to the others in the space, and trust me I've tried them all. The zippers are also higher quality than in the past and feel premium. Highly recommend this product for anybody growing anything.

Not their best product, but still better than the rest
Having tried all other leading competitors, getting your hands on pretty much anything AC Infinity makes makes you fully appreciate quality and value. And this tent is no different. It is leagues better than most and even slightly better than some more expensive brands. Having said that this tent was the worst purchase so far compairing this 8x4 to the last 4x4 I got from them. Here are the differences: -The two mounting plates did not have any of the predrilled holes like the last and the hardware bag that was included had nothing in it helpful, almost like it was meant for something else. The screws were 1.5" long for a plate that sits flush. - The material was different in a bad way. Yes it was still quality and thick, but the 4x4 tent was way more reflective, the inside mylar is stamped with their branding and doesnt hold on to the folds that you get from packing as bad. This 8x4 does not have that stamping and clearly a different material. - The zippers are the same but the stitch work is not. None of the zippers can make a fluid pass from open to close without getting caught up on material that seams to be heat pressed together or something. If you are in the market for a tent AC Infinity makes the best one for the money, even arguably the best one period. This review is to gauge your expectations if you own other ACI tents. The 4x4 I got was perfect and priced well. Maybe since this tent was only $50 more they decided to cheap out in some areas. If so and you are reading this AC Infinity, please dont do that. The thing that makes you guys so much better than everyone else is the quality at the fair pricing.

What I wish I knew before buying this . . . but overall an amazing product.
This review is specifically for the 60" x 48" x 80" tent. (5' X 4') The first thing to mention about this grow tent is the outstanding build quality. The material is top notch, and the zippers are what I would call "Marine Grade" after having lived on a sailboat before. The failure point of any grow tent is probably going to be the zippers (or the seams), and it seems that AC Infinity didn't cut any corners on the quality of these zippers. Now on to the nitty gritty . . . - Building was straightforward and instructions were clear, however you will definitely need two people to get the cover over the frame, unless you have a fetish for getting frustrated and inventing new curse words. With two people though, it slides on easily once you figure out which way is up. - The metal poles are really robust, way better than those on my previous "Vivosun" tent. - This comes with 3 long and 2 short hanging bars which are easy to move around in various positions depending on whatever you want to hang. I found them to be strong enough to hold a pretty big fan motor and equipment without any stress. - The assortment of vent holes available is well thought out. . . 6" and 8" on the top, four 4" on the back (two on top, two on the bottom), two 6" on the left (top and bottom). And each vent hole has a drawstring cinch on BOTH sides for an air-tight and air-tight seal. When not using them, just pull them both shut and it seals well. - The viewing windows are made with nice quality CLEAR thick plastic, and the velcro cover shades block off the light perfectly and the velcro is like industrial grade quality (again, leagues above the Vivosun and others I have seen). - My only main complaint, and the thing I wish I would have understood . . . This tent is designed to be in two sections, the main grow area on the left (4' X 4'), and the "seedling" area on the right (1' X 4') with its own viewing windows and access zipper. If you intend to use it like this, AS PICTURED, then you are going to love this design. But for me, I really only wanted a 5' X 6' tent because that was exactly the space I had, and this was the only 5' X 6' tent that I could find that was a quality tent. The panel separating the main area from the smaller seedling area is optional, as it just attaches with velcro. But with that gone, you are left with a 4' pole on the floor running from the front to the back, making it awkward if putting plants on the floor there. Removing it would require cutting off the 3-way "T" that connects it to the frame. Additionally, the shelf in the middle is not optional and not adjustable, unless you again cut the 3-way "T" on the frame with a hacksaw. While I appreciate the intention of this design, the lack of adjustability on this shelf is a boner killer. There is enough height to add at least one or maybe two more shelves for smaller seedlings, but there is no built-in way to attach additional shelves. Clearly it was designed to give seedlings to grow up a bit. I built it as designed to start with, but I will probably wind up cutting off that shelf with a saw or leaving there and attaching another shelf to hold more smaller plants. - For anyone who happens to want to use this for primarily smaller plants, I found that I was able to put a shelving unit that measured 18" Dร48" Wร72" H on the left side, after cutting off 2.5" from the top of the shelf corner poles. The width of the shelf EXACTLY matches the width of the tent frame, so the feet of the shelf rest on the frame supports. This is actually perfect, as it means the shelf feet are not on the floor fabric. I fixed the shelf securely to the frame with a bunch of zip ties. This is the shelf I used: B08XQFG5RR - As for value, if you like the tent as designed, you get what you pay for. But clearly there is an added cost to having the separate section with the divider fabric, frame, and additional shelf. If you don't need that, then this seems a bit overpriced. I wish AC offered this exact same size tent without that feature. Overall, while I was a little frustrated with the design for my specific needs, this is a FANTASTIC tent that looks great and meets my needs. I would definitely buy another AC Infinity tent, this is leagues above my previous Vivosun tent.

A premium grow tent
This tent is simply awesome and well designed. Took about 30 minutes to assemble and the instructions are wonderful. The fabric seems very durable and the zippers are heavy duty. The tent came well packed and organized. Can't wait to get the rest of my AC Infinity gear installed to start growing my veggies indoors.
