But this deck is offering me something else altogether. By presenting single archetypes (from nature, fairytale and myth, and family systems), the cards give a fresh focus to my readings. Others here have found the little book unsubstantial. For me, it provides just enough to jump off from. I’m not looking to my cards for answers, but for paths to travel on my quest. This set—cards and book—is an ally on the journey. My only complaint is that I wish that the guidebook had full color pictures of the cards inside, instead of black and white. I can’t wait to use this deck, I’m sure it will teach me a lot!
